Friday, August 19, 2011 at 08:00AM Your CWA Bargaining Team has reached a tentative agreement with representatives of Lake County Department of Job and Family Services on a one year pact with no concessions, givebacks.
Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 11:01AM On Wednesday, August 10th, we met in our initial contract bargaining session with the LCDJFS bargaining team. Following agreement on negotiation ground rules, the Union offered its porposal to the Agency for consideration. After a short discussion which focused on various topics, the talks were recessed to allow the Agency time to review and discuss our offer. The Union team also met in committee to discuss the session. The LCDJFS bargaining team presented no formal proposals to the Union.
We're hopeful that we can complete this process quickly and come to an agreement that's acceptable to both the Union and the Agency.
